Accountability

Trust and transparency

As a member of Palmer Land Conservancy, you are critical to our mission. We share information about our activities and finances, so you can feel confident about your investment in our organization. Ensuring we have your trust is key to our success—we cannot fulfill our mission without you.

5-Year Strategic Plan

Land for Life is Palmer's most bold strategic plan in the history of our organization. As we face unprecedented challenges and pressures on land and water, we rely on a courageous and innovative mindset, robust toolbox, and an energized and passionate group of supporters, donors, and partners.

Over the next five years, Palmer Land Conservancy will use our people, tools, and partnerships, leveraging our role as a trusted practitioner with a 45-year track record, to conserve the core thing that draws us all to call this region home - the land.

Governance and Board of Trustees

Palmer Land Conservancy is governed by a single board of trustees, which is made up of volunteers from varying professional backgrounds. We take our mission to conserve land throughout southern Colorado seriously and therefore we bring a high level of integrity to our fiduciary responsibility of stewarding the resources entrusted to us by the public.

Palmer’s board of trustees is composed of four officers and ten directors. Trustees are elected for a three-year term. The board is responsible for setting policy, establishing long-term strategic goals, monitoring general operations, and providing financial oversight.
