As Colorado grows, protecting what makes our home special is vital.
Join us in conserving the land and water that unite us.
Join us as Palmer picks up Pueblo. We'll work to remove trash from around Runyon Lake, which provides critical habitat for nearly 250 bird species and more than eight types of fish.
Runyon Lake (formerly known as Fountain Lakes) was originally used as a dredge pond for the Rocky Mountain Steel Mill, it is approximately 35 acres in size, and is fed by the Arkansas River.
This event is part of Fountain Creek Watershed District's Creek Week, the largest watershed-wide cleanup in the state of Colorado. Palmer will provide equipment for the cleanup (gloves, trash bags, etc.)
