The Project Process
Elevate the Peak asked you, the community, to share your ideas and feedback on what is important and what our regional priorities should be with our great outdoors over the next ten years. Over the summer and fall of 2021, community members were invited to participate by sharing their feedback here on our website by utilizing quick polls, mapping features, and surveys, through targeted focus groups, and in-person at regional community listening sessions and meetings.
Our goal was to bring together diverse voices from throughout the region—El Paso, Fremont, and Teller counties—to create a regionally based strategy and plan that ensures our great outdoors are a source of health, inspiration, and adventure for all.
We asked, we listened, and we learned. The final plan is now available for review.
