What is Elevate the Peak?

Elevate the Peak is a regional planning initiative charged with bringing together the diverse voices and people of the Pikes Peak region to create a vision and strategy for our great outdoors. Focused on El Paso, Fremont, and Teller counties, with your help and ideas, Elevate the Peak will utilize your feedback to create a plan for the future of land conservation and outdoor recreation in our region to ensure a thriving, healthy community. When will it be finished?

In the spring of 2021, we will launch the public phase of the initiative. Presently, we are collecting information on how people use outdoor spaces within the region. Soon we'll be asking for more engagement and input from the public on what you'd like to see in our community. Click here for more info on the whole process.

How can I help?

Participate!

We want to hear from as many people as possible who live, work, and/or recreate in the Pikes Peak region, specifically those from El Paso, Fremont, and Teller counties. That way, we can craft a truly representative vision and strategy for our great outdoors in our region. In this first phase, we need your input about how you enjoy the great outdoors. The easiest way to participate is through the polls and activities here on the Elevate the Peak project site.

• Step 1 – Register: The first step is to register on our website. Please know, we will NEVER share your information with anyone. The ONLY reason we are collecting this data is 1) to keep you informed and 2) to understand if we truly are receiving a diverse and representative amount of input from every corner of each community. • Step 2 – Engage: Take part in all the polls and activities. Share your ideas and feedback throughout the process. We want to hear from you!
  
  
• Step 3 – Spread the Word: We need your help to get as many people involved in Elevate the Peak and sharing their feedback and ideas as possible.
